New York Music Exhibition: “Lake Ohrid Muses Travel to Manhattan”
I’m extremely grateful and honoured by being invited as a fine artist to collaborate with Mr. Margin Alexander, New York City based composer and pianist, on his upcoming July 10th, New York Music Exhibition: “Lake Ohrid Muses Travel to Manhattan.
The event objective is to solely celebrate the artistic collaboration between visual arts and music where the artist and the artwork – the protagonists- are brought to the spotlight through music and narration by composer & pianist, Margin Alexander.
On June 26th Mr. Alexander will have a virtual concert broadcasted live. He will narrate and perform pieces inspired by visiting sites and scenes from NY, Italy and Lake Ohrid. Lake Ohrid is a lake which straddles the mountainous border between the southwestern part of North Macedonia and eastern Albania. It’s one of Europe’s deepest and oldest lakes, with a unique aquatic ecosystem of worldwide importance. Selected artists will be creating an original artwork inspired by his music.
As a second part of this event, on July 10th, all the created artworks and the artists will be presented at an art gallery in Manhattan in the Soho area.
In addition, Mr. Alexander will perform the music exclusively composed inspired of three selected artworks of mine, “Breaking Free”, “Escape” and “Stardust”, which he found them original and profound. This will be a hybrid event (in-person and live-streamed in HD, so it can be watched from any corner of the world.
